An undergraduate student with interest in water quality is sought to work on a recently funded inter-disciplinary project in the Chesapeake Bay. The project focuses on creating a CO2 monitoring network adjacent to and within Chesapeake Bay aquaculture sites in order to adapt to fluctuating CO2 levels. The ideal candidate will have some experience with data networks and data visualization. The student will help develop a data portal for aquaculture producers and water managers. There will also be an opportunity to participate in fieldwork within the Chesapeake Bay. The position is for spring 2016, and will transition into a full-time position for summer 2016.
